Getting epub files from mac onto iphone 3Gs

I have tried the recommended gmail option - which says it can't translate the data.
I have tried the box.net option but it says it can't read the catalogue.
I have tried uploading the files to my phone and I can't seem to find a way of opening them in Stanza.

I have four .epub files on my Mac and I want to be able to read them on my iphone - but I can't find a way of getting them on which works.
Any ideas??

Thanks

Browse Calibre server with Stanza Desktop for Mac

I have tried to open the library from my Calibre content server through Stanza Desktop for Mac. I do this by opening a location (File > Open location) from the menu. The page that opens shows a "Loading" message. It looks like Stanza Desktop does not allow to browse the server. Is this correct? Or should it be able to do this?

BTW: my iPod Touch is perfectly able to browse that Calibre server.

Mac OS X 10.6.2 Java update 1 - Stanza Sesktop doens't load

After update of Java to update 1 Stanza stopped loading.

.prc

Hi!

I have a .prc file that I have been trying to find a Mac-based reader for. FBReader isn't much help, and Stanza seems to choke on some of the typefaces. Any suggestions?

Epub chapters don't show up on iPhone but do on Mac version

Hi all,

I'm trying to get Calibre server to output to iPhone's Stanza reader so I've begun converting all my .lit files into .epubs so that Stanza iPhone can see them from the Calibre server. Now when i do this and download the epubs to the iphone (either via calibre server or via the stanza desktop app), no chapters show up in any of the epubs on the iphone. They do, however, show up and are accessible in the Stanza and Calibre desktop apps. Any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance.

Can't upgrade to Beta18 (Mac version)

I'm trying to upgrade from version beta 17 to beta 18 with no success. After mounting the dmg, dragging Stanza to Applications shows a dialog box asking if I want to replace the current item. If I answer "yes" a Copy error is displayed telling me that I don't have permissions to access to some items.
I didn't find any report like this here, so it must be an unknown bug or, most probably, something with my Mac. I don't have any problems upgrading other applications.
My Mac is a unibody MacBook, SnowLeopard 10.6.1, and just a few books under Stanza library. I also have Stanza iPhone.

How can I update Stanza?

After downloading I cannot complete the update - message "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items."

Catalog Error trying to share book between itouch and mac

Hello I have the latest version of Stanza for Ipod Touch and the latest of Stanza for Mac (I'm on PowerPC)

When I select shared book on my itouch stanza (with stanza desktop open with a book loaded and the sharing option enable and on the same wireless) my itouch stanza tells me "Catalog Error, Scaduto" (in english "expired") and in Stanza Desktop no alert window show up.
What can I do? :(

Stanza Desktop support for Leopard

I happen to think Stanza on the iPhone is one of the few killer apps for the iPhone and I love the UI. However, it really frustrates me that Stanza's support on the Mac is just so terrible. I mean, I am kinda hoping you can get technical here with me because I just don't understand it.

I did a search on the forum and the last thread started on this topic dates back to early 2008 and it offers no insight into what the problem is and why it is so difficult.

Stanza on Mac opens to blank screen, just sits there

I just downloaded Stanza for Mac, and when I try to run it, all I get is an empty, white window. Going into Preferences just shows one tab—Bookmarks—with no contents. Closing the window just causes all menus but "Stanza" menu to disappear.

I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.6 on a MacBook Pro Core Duo 2GHz w/ 2GB RAM. Stanza is vers. 1.0b15. I get no error message.

Help!

Thanks,
-Sonya
