Stanza stuck on searching on Win Vista & randomly crashes when trying to dl multiple .lit books

I am running Windows Vista on an HP pc. My iPhone is connected via wifi while the desktop is connected via ethernet to the router (Linksys WRT160N). I was able to successfully connect and download approximately 32 books (.lit format) with little problem (except for stanza randomly crashing since I'm downloading multiple books - shifting over 300 ebooks by opening each individual ebook is time consuming enough without having to shift them 1 at a time to my iPhone - annoying, but hardly a dealbreaker).

Finding bookmarks

Is it possible to search for bookmarks, other than just paging through the text?

Project Gutenberg catalog searching needs to be improved!

Really like Stanza, really like the catalog access to Project Gutenberg. Is the organization that I see-- e.g., alphabetical authors listing-- something that Lexcycle has set up or that PG is in control of?

I'm asking because searching by alphabet for authors is truly cumbersome... my example is Foster... if one taps on the F, one has to scroll through screen after screen (many authors have last names that begin with F) before one gets to Foster! In fact, F has 898 authors as of this morning May 31, 2009.
