I am working on creating an eBook for a Children's Picture book. I am using InDesign. I want the pages to look like they look in (Adobe InDesign). So text, etc. needs to be formatted with the pictures. Is this something I can do? The idea is for kids to be able to flip through the book as if they were looking at the book in paper format (flip-through it).
Iām new to this so have probably overlooked something very simple. I am trying to publish camera guides for the iPhone and have generated the first title in inDesign CS4 (Windows). I export it in ePub format using the Digital Editions command. If I do it with the content formatted as one long document, it looks like an unformated text file when I open it in Stanza Desktop or Stanza on the iTouch. All paragraph styles, such as those used for headings, are ignored. If I open the same ePub file in Calibre or Adobe Digital Editions it looks perfect, with all formatting perfectly retained.
