Can the behaviour of the tap/hold behaviour (for Dictionary Lookup, Annotate, Share) be set to a default behaviour? I.e., I virtually never use the annotate or share. I would prefer to tap/hold and get a dictionary lookup.
This would be an excellent thing to have in the configuration/settings of the program.
Thanks for a great product.
Is there any way to choose a dictionary so that when you read books of different languages you have an appropriate dictionary. This might mean that it is useful to have a real French dictionary for a French book OR it might mean a French-English Dictionary (in my case) as I struggle to understand the French.
I would like The team to add dictionary features.for example
The user could just put a finger on The undefined word to get
The meaning.classic music could also be activated while The reader read
his book.as you know, music enhence the reading experience.
I will provide more idea if I get a feedback from lexico.i hope
somebody will take the attention.
Thank you in advance
Stanza has a 'touch to define' feature which is really neat except it requires going on the web. I downloaded the Dictionary.com app which seems to be a good dictionary and it would be nice if Stanza allowed linking to it. I note that my OLD Palm Tungsten with eReader did that many years ago.

Hi all,
In stanza previous to 2, I would hold my finger on a word briefly, get a "detail" view of the text, then click Dictionary for a definition of the selected word.
In stanza 2, I can hold my finger down for an hour and the detail view never shows up, so I can't click Dictionary.
Is there a new way of accessing the dictionary on stanza2, or is this a bug?

Hi all,
Suddenly, I get "No Definitions Found" whenever I search for a definition.
This is on an iPhone 3G running 3.0, using Stanza 1.8.1.
Here's what I'm doing: Hold a paragraph until it goes yellow, tap the word and hit Define.
It's worked flawlessly until now.
I have web connectivity, can load pages in Safari, and otherwise all net related apps are working fine.
Maybe there's just a Stanza/dictionary server down somewhere?
-Chris
Is it possible to integrate in Stanza other dictionaries (like English-French)?
I have Stanza v 1.8.1 on an iPod touch connected to a strong wireless signal and yet every word I look up on the dictionary returns: "No Definitions Found"
Any suggestions?
Mac OS 10.5 has a built-in dictionary that can be invoked in practically any program using the Control-Command-D shortcut while hovering the pointer above the word to be looked up. This does however not work in Stanza Desktop – when hitting the key combination nothing happens.
Why is this disabled in Stanza? Supporting Mac OS 10.5's built-in dictionaries is essential for me personally.
