Can't download books via attachment to Gmail mail.

I've spent at least 10 hours trying to download books from my desktop stanza to my itouch. FRUSTRATING. If i try the wireless way, at "get books" and "shared" it just keeps searching, searching, searching. When I tried to email the book to myself. Following your instructions:
How can I open Stanza on my iPhone (from within a self developed iPhone App) from another iPhone App using a *.epub file as a parameter.
What i want is to start my App, then based on the users interaction open Stanza displaying an *.epub file based in my App.
If this is possible, where can I find the URL string which I would need within my App.
thanks

I’m new to this so have probably overlooked something very simple. I am trying to publish camera guides for the iPhone and have generated the first title in inDesign CS4 (Windows). I export it in ePub format using the Digital Editions command. If I do it with the content formatted as one long document, it looks like an unformated text file when I open it in Stanza Desktop or Stanza on the iTouch. All paragraph styles, such as those used for headings, are ignored. If I open the same ePub file in Calibre or Adobe Digital Editions it looks perfect, with all formatting perfectly retained.
Hi ,
I have 2 ePub file(s) which I had converted from proprietory Quark. I used Calibre for the intermediary conversion as well as XML to backend it. On conversion, I tried opening the file on the Calibre provided ereader(s) in the PC as well as Stanza ereader in my Macbook.
Now is my challenge.. I am unable to open my converted ePub file in my iPhone using the stanza reader. Where could i have gone wrong?
a) During encoding the xml file? Is there any proprietory tag which i need to look into?
