Blank Screen on iPod Touch

I just bought an ipod touch -mainly to use stanza- and i've installed the app and when I go into it I just get a blank screen, I can't see where there is a button for shared books at all.

Any help is much appreciated.

Blank Screen

I downloaded stanza to my ipod touch about two days ago. Converted my books with Calibre and sent to ipod, no problems, could view the 30 books transferred. However today when I lauch stanza is gives me a blank screen and then returns to the ipod home screen. I have tried touching the centre of the screen, the sides but my book list does not come up. What has gone wrong and how do I fix it.

Stanza crashes to home screen.

I have the exact same problem. It worked great for several days now when I click on stanza is goes to black for about 1 second then directly back to the home screen.

I've tried a reinstall, an uninstall a reboot then a reinstall.

My Ipod is Jailbroken is there a log file somewhere that might offer insight?

I love this program and want to get it running again! I'm reading more now than I ever have!!!!

Thanks anyone for any help they can offer.

When you tap the center of the screen once Stanza has launched, does anything at all appear? How long does it take to crash back to the home screen?

One thing to try is to reboot the phone itself. Also, deleting Stanza and re-installing may help as well (although you will need to re-download your books from Calibre).

What happens when you tap the

What happens when you tap the center of the screen after you launch Stanza? Do a set of toolbars pop up from the top and bottom? If so, tap on the back button in the upper left corner, until you see a screen called Library. From there you can select "Shared Books".

If this helps, if means that you were in the middle of reading a book when you last closed Stanza, but you happened to be on blank page of the book. Stanza opens automatically to the last book you were reading if you close Stanza while you are reading a book.

If that doesn't help, I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall Stanza. I have never heard of the particular behavior your describe, but it's possible something was corrupted in the download from the App Store.
