Well, the software and iphone app works great so far, especially with the new release that fix OS 10.4 sharing problems here are something that I find:
For chinese character, I have two different files, one is done by mac (they are unicode) and the others done by PC (big5 code). Stanza can render the chinese character properly with unicode chinese character (That is most likely done by a Mac). But it will not display right with Big5 code chinese file. So, with the unicode file, I am able to transfer it right to the ipod-touch and view it properly without any problems, but the big5 code file will not sync to my ipod touch at all with error message displayed.
The other things I try to do is to use the stanza format to display a poetry book and sync it to my ipod touch. However, the lack of format makes it almost unreadable in poetry form. My suggestion if they will use some simple formating language in the plain txt file that it will allow some basic formatting, like putting [p] as next page or [chapter]name as chapter name. This will make the reading more pleasure. I think I can lives with the fonts and skip a line is next paragraph, but like either a page break and a chapter mark with make it like almost perfect. This is just my suggestion.

I am using Tradition Chinese, and the character in the connection dialog goes wong.I hope that it can be fixed very soon and I always support FileZilla.
We are aware of some issues
We are aware of some issues with some Big5 code files. Stanza Desktop tried to automatically identify the encoding that a book uses and convert it to UTF-8 when synchronizing with Stanza iPhone/iPod, but this process is inherently error-prone and it does not always work. One way to test to see if it will work is to open the file in Stanza Desktop and then export it to an HTML file, and then try to view that HTML file in your web browser.
If appropriate, would it be possible to send us the file(s) you are having problems with (to support@lexcycle.com)? We would like to take a look at them so we have more data to work with when trying to fix the problem.
Also, we are aware of the difficulty of poetry formatting. Stanza's main design is for paragraph-based prose, and so poetry has some formatting limitations that can cause problems (such as lines that run together). We do not currently have any simple text formatting hints that can be used, but one possibility for solving the issue is to make an HTML file for the poem and putting in paragraph tags for separate lines, as well as h2 elements to indicate where chapter headers should be put. This can be a tedious and laborious process, but it is one solution that you can use right now to help provide hints to Stanza on how to display your poems better.
