I'm using Stanza to put documents onto my ipod touch as well. This is what it looks like when I add it by "New From Clipboard", using the first question in the FAQs (The quotation marks I added).
"Unknown
by Unknown
What sort of content can I read with Stanza?
Anything! However, Stanza is especially designed for reading large bodies of text where formatting is not an integral part of the reading experience. It is more appropriate for reading novels, stories, essays, and news articles. Graphics-heavy content like textbooks and multimedia web sites will be difficult to read using Stanza."
When I add a title and author, it ends up looking like this:
"Title
by Author
Title
Title
Title
Title

Is there a problem with how I'm entering? Is there anyway that I could have no repeating titles? (It's not very important, but can be distracting)
thanks in advance!

It really says the word
It really says the word "Title" and "Author"? Or does it say the actual title and author, which in your case look like "Unknown"? Let me know.
Also, when you do "New From Clipboard", what application are you copying from? Thanks!
Kohina, try opening the file
Kohina, try opening the file with stanza desktop, then use the built in converter to save a new copy as a "open Ereader" format. then try transfering.
read my post titled "skydrive alternative " and it goes into more detail
