Unable to access Wifi, alternate transfer methods?

I am trying to transfer a couple of my books from the desktop app to the iphone, and I have a seperate issue with the Iphone and my Belkin router making the Wifi Network unavailable. Is there any alternative to send the books through the cable to the iphone?

Apple does not permit third-party applications to do data transfers through the USB cable. There are a couple of things you can try. Here is one that requires you just to have a wifi card on your computer, even if you don't have a wireless network that you can connect to:

You can also upload books from your computer to a website, and then download them to your iPhone either on 3G, Edge, or a wifi connection. Follow the directions here for the type of book you want to transfer:
