Newbie - Sorry - Got App, how to get books?

Hi,

Sorry to ask, but - just downloaded app from iTunes - how do I actually get books and then get them on to iTouch?

I have a MacBook as my main computer.

Be gentle with a newbie - thanks in anticipation.

The easiest way is to start

The easiest way is to start by browsing the Online Catalog in Stanza iPhone. From the main Library in Stanza iPhone, tap Online Catalog. A variety of different catalogs will appear. Tap the one that interests you most, and search for a book you'd like to read, or browse authors and titles. When you've found a book you like, just tap Download, and the book will now be in your Stanza iPhone library.

The Feedbooks catalog is a great place to start, since it carries a huge selection of free classics, by authors from Shakespeare to F. Scott Fitzgerald. Project Gutenberg offers many of the same titles, also for free. Our selection of Random House books by contemporary authors is also free.

The Fictionwise Book Store offers over 40,000 contemporary titles for sale, by authors from Steven King to Salman Rushdie.

We also offer specialized genre catalogs, such as Munseys, All Romance eBooks, and Harlequin, and books by independent authors in the Smashwords catalog. Pan MacMillan offers "tasters" for some of their most popular titles, as well. Other posters, if you have a favorite catalog, feel free to mention it here!

The other way to get books to Stanza iPhone is to transfer them from your pc. If you have non-DRM books and documents on your computer that you'd like to read in Stanza iPhone, you can transfer them to Stanza iPhone in a number of different ways, which are described here:
