Custom PDF's are only opening the first page in Stanza

I have some custom pdf ebooks that I downloaded off the internet. When I open them in Stanza it only loads the first page of the pdf. If I transfer that to my iphone it works the same way there.
I can get .prc files to work but nothing else.
Any help?

I had this same problem, linked to the FAQ and opened the book with adobe. the problem is i was able to highlight the text. the first few pages had pictures but the rest of the book was text and it sill only brought down the first page. is there a fix for this?
Can you try to copy and paste
Can you try to copy and paste the text into a TextEdit (in Mac) or Notepad (in Windows)? If you are able to copy the text from the pdf and paste it into TextEdit or Notepad, then save what you pasted as a plain text file (.txt), and then open that .txt file in Stanza Desktop.
If you are able to do that successfully, and if the file is publicly available, would you mind telling us the name of the file and where you got it? We would like to see the behavior you're describing. Thanks.
