Feature request - over the web sharing

Hi,

Great app, it looks very good and the actual reading experience is excellent (it's the only iPhone ebook reader app that I've found that shows progress, uses search, uses landscape and profile modes and can upload my existing ebooks). However, it'd be great if we could access our ebooks when we're not in front of our computer. At present I need to be in front of a Mac with a wireless network in order to share files. However, the ability to download (free) books (via the online catalog) off the net is already present - so it'd be great to be able to upload our own books to the net and be able to download them at a later time. BookShelf allows its BookShelf server app to share over IP, ReaddleDocs gives access to its server and eReader gives access to its online bookshelf (though the books currently have to be purchased from Fictionwise or eReader.com in order to be readable). It'd be excellent if Stanza could compete with these other packages.

Anyway, thanks for a great app - I hope to see it improve over time!

Cheers,

Joel

Thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you for the suggestion. We are currently looking into ways to expand the number of ways that users can synchronize and share their content, and your suggestion is one of a number of possible options we are considering. We hope to have some more options available in the near future.

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback, and we hope that you continue to enjoy using Stanza!

Ditto on this one ; as much as I like this application, making it able to load from a private internet server would be a great addition (and not something utterly difficult, AFAIK)...
