Is it possible to add cover art to a basic text file or a Word Document, so that it shows up in Cover Flow? I know some files like .lit, etc, come with their own built in, but I'm not sure how to add a picture to a regular document, if it's even possible. Thanks in advance!
About the Cover Image
I loaded a .txt file to my iphone with the stanza desktop program and when i start reading the book the Very first page is the Title of the book on the top followed by a blank screen for the rest of the page, is this supposed to be the cover image page? if so can i add a image to this somehow? if not is there a way to get rid of this page or skip it all together?
also is this the same problem that you are talking about in your previous question? Tasogare?
update
i wanted to add that i can see the thumbnail of the book i went to edit and then selected the book went to cover image and i hit lookup on web and that got a cover image and it shows it on the thumbnails, but the first page is still blank with just the title .
This is the expected
This is the expected behavior. When selecting a cover image in Stanza iPhone, you are just selecting a picture to be displayed as a thumbnail when viewing a list of books in portrait orientation and as a book cover when viewing a list of books in landscape orientation.

Well I have several .txt and .html files I would like to convert to either eReader format or Open eBook (BTW - any benefit of one over the other?) and then add the book cover for. I don't see an option in Stanza Desktop to add covers... Thanks in advance!
You can use Stanza Desktop to
You can use Stanza Desktop to convert a file to ePub (which is the file format associated the Open eBook structure), but you cannot currently use Stanza Desktop to add a cover image to your book.
Once you have a book on your iPhone you can add a cover image, but that would be only for your personal use on your iPhone.
Note: Tried adding book cover
Note: Tried adding book cover from iPod photos, didn't work. Tried adding from an image file contained in the .doc. Didn't work. Tried looking up the book cover online after adding the ISBN number in Stanza Desktop. Didn't work. This is seriously frustrating. A make or break issue, almost, given my other ebook reader that might not show covers, but works fine in every other way.
