Newspaper/Magazine

Hey... so i use the reader frequently but when i download a magazine/news paper (for ex: wallstreet journal/nyt) it is a VERY limited version. The articles are 300 words (one paragraph about).. its really pathetic.. There are also no images. My friends kindle has a great built in newspaper reader function... anyway to improve this?

Newspapers / Magazines

This is an area we are very keen on improving in coming weeks and months. We are actually talking to partners and publishers to get a significant amount of newspaper and magazine content to make available whether for free or for a subscription fee, and are also working on some features in Stanza for better supporting periodical content largely because of the popularity of the newspapers and magazines currently available on Stanza.

I am almost positive that the Feedbooks periodicals which is what is currently offered on Stanza iPhone / iPod Touch are aggregations of RSS feeds. As such, the content may be summaries of articles in certain cases.

FTR, Stanza iPhone / iPod Touch has had image support and inline image support for quite some time. The key was whether or not the books offered had inline images. Obviously the iPhone: The Missing Manual (among other books) does a great job of highlighting our support of images, including the Image Viewer.

You have to pay for a

You have to pay for a subscription for the newspapers you read on the Kindle, while the ones on Stanza are all free. That's probably why there's a difference in quantity and length of articles.
