1.6 "deleted" all my books but space is still being taken up on iphone even after deleting the app

Not sure anyone had the same problem but I updated to 1.6 on my phone and when I went back into the app, all the books were gone. The only problem is it is still taking up the space in my iphone and has moved to the "other" section for data. I tried deleting the Stanza app but my books are still taking up to 500 mb of space and yet Stanza does not recongnize it. anyone have any idea to remove this or at the very least get Stanza to recongnize these books again?

I just responded to the email you sent us with some questions for you about your issue. Quick summary:

The iPhone OS is what does the deleting, and when it deletes an application, it deletes all the associated data, so this is quite surprising. If the data is truly not being deleted, then there might be a bug in the iPhone OS you re running.

Thank you for the email...I am not too sure it is the OS which is 2.2 btw. To me it seems like after the 1.7 update (not 1.6 sorry), Stanza lost all the links to the books that were stored in my iphone. The question is how do I restore those links to the section where the epub still exist.
