Accessing eReader Personal Content through Stanza?

How can I access eReader personal content that I have uploaded through Stanza? It doesn't seem to show in the mobile bookshelf page.

When I go to the non-mobile site to try to use its bookshelf, which has the PC link, I get redirected back to the mobile version.

Unable to download content from eReader

When I attempt to download a book from my Bookshelf at eReader using Stanza, I get the following 'Import Failed' message: "Failed to download and import "A Thief of Time [Navajo Tribal Police Series #8]". Unable to translate "A Thief of Time [Navajo Tribal Police Series #8]" for import: Unable to parse NCX data from zip: (null)"

Is there a workaround or fix for this?

Thank you.

There are known problems with

There are known problems with specific titles that will be resolved in the next version of Stanza, which we hope will be released in the coming weeks. Thanks so much for letting us know about this one.

In the meantime, you can read this book with the eReader, another ebook reader for the iPhone that is available for free in the App Store.

Thanks. I already have

Thanks. I already have eReader and have been reading my books on it. I just like the look and feel of Stanza much better so I will wait until the next version.

Bugfix coming

Apparently it's a known issue and a bugfix is coming in the next version.

eReader does not show on catalog list

According to the post above, downloading books in my personal content bookshelf at eReader should be easy. Problem is, eReader bookshelf does not show on my list of catalogs on stanza. I tried to browse the eReader site by entering the web adress myself, and I can access my eReader bookshelf, but not the personal content.

What gives?

Thanks.

To find your Bookshelf in

To find your Bookshelf in Stanza iPhone, go to the Fictionwise Book Store in the Online Catalog. You'll see "My Bookshelf" at the bottom of the Fictionwise Book Store screen.

When you go to "My Bookshelf" in the Fictionwise Book Store on the iPhone, do you see your personal content? Do you see books you have purchased? If you only see one or the other, it might be because you have multiple accounts with Fictionwise, e.g., one at stanza.fictionwise.com, one at www.fictionwise.com, and one at www.eReader.com.

If you have the same username and password at all three, then "My Bookshelf" in the Fictionwise Store in Stanza on your iPhone should display *all* the books you've bought at any of the three stores and *all* the personal content you've uploaded on the web to any of your three accounts.

If you have different a username and password on one or more of these accounts, you then you'll need to tap "Set Login Info", and enter the username and password for the account associated with the content you would like to see.

Let us know if that doesn't resolve your problems. As time goes on, we hope to improve the integration of the three bookstores.

They have now combined the

They have now combined the earlier ereader bookshelf with the fictionwise one.

Try accessing your bookshelf via the first online catalog...fictionwise.

This should work:

This should work:

1. On your computer, go to eReader.com, stanza.fictionwise.com, or www.fictionwise.com, and log into your account.
2. Go to Bookshelf, and then click on the Personal Content for iPhone and iPod Touch button.
3. Follow the instructions there to upload your personal content to your eReader.com Bookshelf.
4. Open Stanza on your iPhone.
5. Go to the Online Catalog->Fictionwise Book Store -> My Bookshelf.
6. Click on Set Login Info, and enter your login info for the account you uploaded to.
7. Your personal content should appear in My Bookshelf.

Good luck!

Yes, that works. (The eReader

Yes, that works. (The eReader Bookshelf option was not there when I originally posted this topic.) At least for the eReader.com bookshelf.

How can those people with Personal Content on their Fictionwise (not Stanza.Fictionwise) shelves access it?

Neither the personal content

Neither the personal content on www.fictionwise.com nor stanza.fictionwise.com is yet accessible from within the bookshelf catalog. We hope to get some integration with all the different "personal content" sections working soon.
