.Pdb books illegible

I've got a number .pdb files which come up as utter gibberish when I open stanza (version 13) desktop on my mac.

Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing something incredibly obvious?

Are the .pdb files DRM protected files? At the moment Stanza does not handle DRM protected files.

I don't think they are - I got them from Memoware and they say that they're from Project Guttenburg.

One common problem is that

One common problem is that pdb files are a generic container, a bit like a zip file: they can contain anything. Stanza Desktop is able to read some of the common book files formats contained therein (like Mobipocket and PalmDoc), but other ones are formats that Stanza does not yet support (like eReader).

Thanks for that - that seems to have been the problem.

I'm really enjoying stanza, except I keep on falling asleep with iphone in my hand...
