The New York Times: Stanza: “The iPhone or iPod Touch can act as an electronic book reader.”
— Tip of the Week: Turn Your iPhone Into an e-Book
Just a little quirky thing about Stanza on the iPod Touch I am using. With the page turning being set to the bottom only its a slight problem for me as for some reason when I read sitting up I use my right hand but when reading in bed its left handed. So being as lazy as I am I wondered if maybe sometime down the track you could look at an option of using the entire bottom inch to page down and the top inch to page up. And maybe even add a swipe function to scroll up and down.
Cheers.
Oh the program is awseome.
Thanks for the kind words. We
Thanks for the kind words. We are considering adding more configurability for how page turns happen, but do note that if you open the Stanza settings (inside the iPhone "Settings" application), you have the option to control the action of each of the tap sides. So if you change the left tap action to be "next page" instead of "previous page", tapping on the left side will change to the next page. This is useful for left-handed reading, since you can just curl your thumb around to proceed to the next page.
