The New York Times: Stanza: “The iPhone or iPod Touch can act as an electronic book reader.”
Tip of the Week: Turn Your iPhone Into an e-Book

Suggestion for improving Stanza

I love Stanza! Great work on this fabulous ebook reader for the iphone.

Here is a suggestion for improving the software though....

Add a speed reading function, similar to the javascript one found on www.spreeder.com , which basically displays a book one word at a time.
I've found that I can read an ebook almost twice as fast using this method, and your eyes don't get so tired as they don't have to move to read the words. It would be perfectly suited to the small screen of a mobile device.

Also the ability to download ebooks dirtect from the web, by typing in a url would be useful once apple add copy and paste to thier iphones.

Thanks and keep up the great work.

LOVE IT! You guys rock!

The only reason why I didn't get an iphone when it first came out is because of my ebooks. I finally got the iphone after I found stanza. Now I can let my Palm TX rest...
I love that I can download my ebooks wirelessly without having to go through itunes and without having to upload books to a remote server like the other ebooks reader out there.

Thank you!
