The New York Times: Stanza: “The iPhone or iPod Touch can act as an electronic book reader.”
— Tip of the Week: Turn Your iPhone Into an e-Book
Hi
It seems that since the 17 december update the support for iPhone OS 2.x has been withdrawn. I do not request you to develop the application on the older platform but please make the old version available for download.
Although the website still states that it supports 2.x the application in app store or when itunes accesses the store i still get only the version requiring iPhone OS 3.0 or later
Thanks
Rohit
ipas
I dunno if you term these illegal. So for people who might be having the same problem, i found these stanza ipas

Dunno if they work, I take no liability over any legal concerns also.
I'm not sure if the Apple App
I'm not sure if the Apple App Store facilitates older versions for any apps.
Stanza
Is the app store the only medium of downloading stanza, i mean u can provide ipas or debs(i guess they would be illegal)?
But i suggest u update the site. The link still says "Stanza for iphone OS 2.x". Caused me a lot of confusion.
Apple really makes as crappy software as Microsoft. Neither does the restore restore the apps(it is not backing up anything else here) and then it cant support multiple versions of same software. I am not ranting but just am oversurprised here.
btw.. Does cydia support multiple versions?
