How can i transfer Adobe digital edition ebooks to Stanza desktop?
When I try to open from the my docs file with Stanza desktop it says java.io IOException:pushback buffer overflow.
1) is the book protected by DRM? http://www.lexcycle.com/supported-formats Stanza cannot open the file if it is a PDF or ePub with DRM.
2) Try a free book from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/library/
I loaded Sway (non-DRMed ePub file) in both Adobe Digital Reader and Stanza Desktop without problems
But a copy of Perdito Street Station, which IS a DRM protected ePub, gives me the same "java.io IOException:pushback buffer overflow" error you received. Which means the file you are trying to open may have DRM protection.
This particular error usually means that the book is encrypted with Adobe DRM, which Stanza Desktop does not yet support and the Stanza iPhone only supports the eReader DRM. You will be limited to opening them in Adobe Digital Editions and any of the products listed on this following page: http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/devices/

Likely a DRM-Restricted eBook
