Error: Bad version numer in .class file

When trying to enable sharing:
An error ocurred when trying to access Bonjour services
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version numer in .class file

SnowLeo 10.6 and I tried both versions of java:
JavaVM [Java SE 6, 1.6.0_15/i386 (com.apple.javajdk16, /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home)]
JavaVM [J2SE 5.0, 1.5.0_20/i386 (com.apple.javajdk15, /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/J2SE5/Home)]

I have the same problem, I've tried the standard snowleopard version of Java and the leopard one. I'm running OS X 10.6.2
