New stanza user - iTouch os 3.1 bug

I just installed stanza app from itunes store on my itouch that i also just upgraded the OS to 3.1.
The problem is I can't open stanza on iTouch. when i click the stanza icon, the screen goes blank then go back to the main menu of my iTouch.

Try resetting

That sort of thing is not uncommon on a Touch, and it can happen with any application. Try resetting the Touch: hold down the home and power buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo on the screen. It takes several seconds. Release the buttons and wait a bit--it'll be less than a minute--until the Touch resets. That usually solves the problem.

Blank iTouch screen after download

I have the latest 3.1 software on my Touch and had no problem with Stanza either on the Touch or on my PC desktop. Synced perfectly and I'm a happy camper.

Don't know how to delete the old copy and installing a new one, but if you can figure out how I would try that on the off chance the program didn't download completely or properly.
