I have what seem to be two bugs in the Stanza software. I'm running the most recent versions of both Stanza and the iPhone OS on my iPhone 3G.
First, I have the "Lock Book Rotation" clicked on in the Standa Controls screen, yet the reading screen still will *sometimes* rotate if I tip the iPhone over too far.
Second, *sometimes" when I close the app and then later reopen it, the text size on the screen has changes (gotten smaller) than I had it set for the last time the app was open.
Both of these problems are sporadic, and happen only sometimes, but they happen often enough to be annoying.
Thanks!
Thanks for the quick reply!
Regarding the changing text sizes, I had to go looking for the "pinch" control, as I never noticed that before. I switched it off, and so far the font size has remained constant so here's hoping that fixed it!
Regarding the unlocked orientation, I checked and it does change while the book is opening. I have not been able to make it change once the book was completely open, but it *was* sporadic before so I can't say for sure it won't in the future. I'll try and pay attention to when and if it happens again.
Thanks again!
Does the rotation happen
Does the rotation happen while you are reading the book? Or might it be happening while the book is loading (such as when the progress bar is being displayed when you change chapter).
As for the font issue, is it possible you are making a gesture that could be interpreted as a pinch or zoom before you exit the application? If you disable pinch/zoom to change the font size in Stanza's settings, does this problem persist?
