I am having an issue with the Stanza reader I have a macintosh computer , System Version:Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L31a) , Kernel Version:Darwin 9.8.0, Boot Volume:Macintosh HD, and Boot Mode:Normal . As far as hardware Model Identifier:MacPro3,1 , Processor Name:Quad-Core Intel Xeon , Processor Speed:2.8 GHz , Number Of Processors:2 , Total Number Of Cores:8 , L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB , and Memory:2 GB . I am using Stanza version 1.0.0 which I downloaded today from website and assume it is hopefully newest version. I have had this computer for approx 1 yr with no issues , extremely stable . In last few days I have had serious issues with compatibility with stanza reader , i have used stanza reader since I got computer and never had issue , I use it to read my non drm mobipocket ebooks since it is the only reader I have found that works on macintosh and handles them . It started freezing/crashing a few days ago , I made sure software was up to date on my Mac and went so far as to remove old stanza software and download it again , now it will freeze , or it will take approx 5 min for it to open with blank page then approx 5 min to complete the opening process and show ebook . Once ebook is open it works fine issue is with getting it open . I hope you might have info on this issue and how to correct it I really like your Stanza reader and would like to continue to use it . If you need any further info on issue please let me know.
Sincerely O. H. Rhymes

That's an odd problem. Did you recently perform a software upgrade on your Mac that could correspond with the problem starting? Also, if you remove Stanza from your machine and delete your preferences (by following the instructions at http://www.lexcycle.com/node/969) and then re-installing, does it help? If not, can you let us know the text that shows up by going to the menu Stanza->About Stanza and clicking the "System Information" button?
