The New York Times: Stanza: “The iPhone or iPod Touch can act as an electronic book reader.”
— Tip of the Week: Turn Your iPhone Into an e-Book
Mac Stanza is having problems displaying a few of my mobi (prc) books. (I have tried with the most recent stable and beta (17) versions.) It seems like it is not correctly parsing the chapter titles. For example, if the book says "Chapter 3 Joe scoured the internet, searching frantically for a way to read his books. He really likes books." Stanza will show "Joe scoured the internet... He really likes books."
I know that the PRCs are not corrupt or anything because Calibre is reading them fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you saying that Stanza is not correctly splitting the book into chapters, or that it is just not labeling the chapters correctly at the beginning of them? Stanza may differ from other readers in how it applies the labels to the chapters, but it should be mostly a cosmetic difference. In any case, if you prefer the way Calibre handles the chapters, you can always use Calibre to convert the book to EPUB and then just transfer that file over to Stanza iPhone.
