This is a known issue with our handling of the compression in some Mobipocket and PalmDoc files. Until we get it fixed, you might want to try to use Calibre (http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net) to convert the books to ePub, and then load the ePub file into Stanza Desktop for reading or transfer over to Stanza iPhone.
