I'm a successful independent author who has had the top science fiction novel on Mobipocket.com for 10 months. Here's a link: http://www.mobipocket.com/en/eBooks/Category.asp?Language=EN&categoryId=14&Name=Science+Fiction I currently have 5 books in the top 10 Sci-Fi listings and have sold thousands of copies.
My books are available on the Amazon Kindle as well. I know I've contacted Lixcycle about listing my work on Stanza before and not received a response. I'm wondering if there is any way I could have my work listed with the Stanza service. Please contact me with details.
Thank you for your time!

"How about trying to get
"How about trying to get hooked with Fictionwise? Stanza can connect directly to it and users can buy books that way. You'll want your novels in the ePub format." - end quote
Sadly, Fictionwise only deals with authors who have ten or more out of print published titles. Any independents have to go through vanity presses or tertiary service providers to become listed with them (or listed with Barnes and Noble and then Fictionwise). Since I don't pay for publishing services, that might not happen any time soon.
Since I posted the above inquiry, I've listed my work with Smashwords, https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/randolphlalonde and the readers who have tried it have had good things to say. I can't help but agree, they're very easy to use through Stanza.
I also have a free eBook there if you'd like to take a look, and you can download samples of all my science fiction titles (21%-50% of each book is available for free).
Thank you for your suggestions, I'll keep trying to spread my words around and will post any success stories here. Loving the Stanza software, by the way. I see it as the best example of an iPhone reader.

Making my work available for Stanza
Randolph,
Congratulations on your success.
Is DRM important to you? If yes, you will need to work with Fictionwise / Ingram Digital as the only DRM and format which Stanza iPhone can read currently is eReader which is owned by Fictionwise and DRM-enabled eReader content is distributed by Ingram. If DRM is not important, you can work with any of our retail partners: Fictionwise, Books on Board, Smashwords who handle delivery on non-DRM books.
I apologize about the lack of responsiveness via email.

I'd also recommend releasing a couple of chapters of a book, so others can get a feel for your writing style-- or if the books are a series, releasing the first one or two for free, to get readers hooked by the tales!
