Odd. Which catalog is this happening with? I tried the Russian books in the Feedbooks catalog, and they all seem to load fine for me.
Is this happening with all the books in the catalog for you? And are you able to download books in other languages (like English), or does the error happen for every book you try to download?
Most of the books in the catalog, but not all. http://www.istanza.org/xmls/index.xml - here is the catalog.
I'm able to download books in other languages.
There does seem to be a problem with a number of books in that catalog. Looking at the ePubs themselves, they do have some structural problems which might be confusing Stanza's import process (the first one I notice is that the "mimetype" entry is supposed to be stored uncompressed, but in those files it is being compressed). Could you contact the catalog provider and let them know about the issue, and ask them to contact us directly if they want to discuss ways to improve the compatibility between their books and Stanza?
How can I do it? Do you have any email to contact you directly? Or you can send the email to catalog provider: epubs(at)yandex.ru
P.S. Sorry for my English
