Stanza Desktop - Ipod touch transfer problem

Im pretty new to stanza and i'm just having a problem transferring books from stanza desktop to my ipod touch. Enable sharing is on and the book is open in stanza desktop. Im just wondering whether its actually possible to transfer the books if my pc is actually connected to my wireless router with an ethernet cable instead of a network card.

My ipod touch is connected to the wifi network and working perfectly but is it still possible to send books if my pc is wired to the wifi router?
I'm running Vista home premium SP1, Norton internet security and 'Stanza desktop version 1.0.0-beta16 build #1:396' if that helps.

Thanks a lot, i just found the firewall suggestions in the FAQ and opened the correct port. Its working perfectly now.

I also transfer books using that same setup. All that matters is that the iPod and the computer are on the same network; it doesn't matter how they are connected. Check the security/firewall suggestions in the FAQ.

There should be no problem

There should be no problem with that configuration. It is exactly how my iPhone is connected to my PC.
