Problem Description:

So I am having a problem switching from Portrait view to Landscape while using Stanza for the iPhone. When I open a book, it will automatically open up in portrait view. I generally prefer reading while it is in Landscape mode, so I usually will try and tilt the phone to its side to switch to Landscape mode. The Problem is, sometimes it refuses to switch. When this happens I usually will try and troubleshoot the problem with the following steps:

1. Repeatedly switch the phones orientation from portrait to landscape with drastic movements (basically swinging the phone back and forth to try and get the accelerometer to register the change). Probably an unnecessary step, but I try it anyways.
2. If step 1 doesnt work I move to stpe 2. I go into the "Actions" menu (by pressing the button with the three dots "...") and alternating the book rotation option, and seeing if that resolves the problem.
2. If step 2 doesnt work, I will quit the app and reopen it (by pressing the home button, and then pressing the stanza app in the springboard).
3. And finally, if neither of those work I will reset the phone.

Usually, somewhere along these lines the app will start to work correctly and allow me to switch to landscape. One thing to note is that once I am able to switch to Landscape, I never have a problem switching back to Portrait. Not sure if that is useful information or not.

On that note I would like the following feature added:

The ability to pick a defaut layout for viewing. Basically so I can tell the app to always open up in landscape view, and then set the lock orientation option. Thus the app would default to the Landscape orientation and wouldnt switch (unless I went into options and told it to). Although, I guess if I didnt have such a problem switch to Landscape view in the first place, this feature would be as helpful.

BTW, the app is awesome and the O'Reilly support makes it just that much better!
