How do you enable chapters

When I import a Lit file, I lose the ability to go to a chapter from the Table of Contents. How do I import them, so the Table of Contents works?

Stanza's table of contents

Stanza's table of contents detections sometimes fails with some files. One solution might be to try to use Calibre (http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net) to load and convert the LIT file to ePub, which does chapter detection somewhat differently.
