Referring Stanza to a family member

I work for a company that is focused on connecting families using technology. I've tried out Stanza (on my iPhone) and I like it a lot so far. My question is if you were to refer this application to a family member which family member(s) would it be?

My first thought is to the "older" generation (Grandma, Grandpa) because they tend to be more apt to reading, but the "younger" generation seems to be more attracted to the digital world.

Coming from those who use Stanza the most, what family member would you refer this application to?

Hmm... interesting question.

Hmm... interesting question. It would depend, I believe, upon whether the individuals in question already had an iPhone or iPod Touch. If they do, then it's a no-brainer. Just encourage them to install it, or install it for them, and show them what it can do.

Now, you'll have to break many reading traditions... and even for those in the digital age, many will think that reading on such a "small" screen isn't viable. Having used a Palm device for years for ebook reading, the IPT seems HUGE in contrast. OTOH, I only read on the IPT in the middle of the night. Even I find it too small to read on during the day and much prefer a real paperback or hardback book.

And, for the older generation, the transition to reading on an electronic device will be even harder. But if they've already caught the digital bug, they just may try it and like it!

Why not try it with some family members of different ages and report back?!!
