Subjects: Limited or not

I don't seem to be able to add more Subjects and not always able to add check-marks to Subjects for some books and make them stick. Presently I have 23 Subjects and the only way I can add a new topic is to change one of the subjects. Also, it seems that when I do change an old subject to a new one and I uncheck it, the Subject is changed but stays checked on the, now, inappropriate new Subject though I attempted to save the changes.

Then I checked another book that I had made myself and noticed that Non-Fiction had been added to the Subject list since downloading a few books so my self-made and misspelt Nonfiction Subject was no longer necessary. I then reverted the "War" Subject I had previously changed to "Buddhism" (ironic, I know) back to the Subject "War", and changed "Nonfiction" to "Buddhism".

I also noticed that some books I cannot add subjects to. For instance, I tried to add the Subjects Non-Fiction, Philosophy, Politics, Religion and Science to Harding's "How to be a Good Atheist" but the checks wouldn't stick after I attempted saving a number of times.

I have read faq, tried finding this topic in forums and have had fun attempting and messing with this problem. Any ideas as I do get a kick out of Stanza and like to tweak the settings for my books and articles.

Cheers,
mhikl

The problem is that the

The problem is that the iPhoneOS 3.0 update broke the way we handle subjects. We will soon be releasing an update to Stanza that addresses this issue, but until then it isn't possible to reliably add or remove subjects from books.
