I thought that this was supposed to remember your page after close and reopen. In fact, it only remembers the chapter most of the time. So if I stop reading in the middle of a chapter and I get a phone call, when I go back to my book, it starts at the chapter beginning and I have to page through to my ending point. In fact this sometimes happens when I rotate the phone from landscape to vertical and back. Suddenly, I'm at the beginning of the chapter. Is there something I'm not doing? Can I place a bookmark?
Thank you
Strange behavior with 1.8.1 and OS 3.0
After upgrading to the 3.0 OS upgrade, my Stanza instance has shown some problems. It doesn't remember the last page read and if I try to create a bookmark the app crashes and sends me back to the springboard (this also happens if I try to go back to the library from my book).
Are you sure you are using
Are you sure you are using Stanza 1.8.1, or might it be Stanza 1.8? You can find out by tapping the settings icon on the top-level Library screen.
Also, can you let us know if the bookmarking crashes Stanza when you create it using the "+" button from the TOC screen, or when you do the one-tab bookmark by tapping the upper-right corner of the current page (or both)?

Are you using Stanza 1.8? This problem was a known one in Stanza 1.8, and should be fixed by upgrading to 1.8.1.
