Tap & Hold not work for some books

I love Stanza and adore the implementation of "Tap & Hold - word look up." However, I ran into a little problem recently when this function does not work for the book I am reading. I adjusted the font size, changed the hyphenation, anything I can think of to get it working again and the function comes and go capriciously. If I change out to another book, the function comes right back and works like a charm again in another book.

Is there some tips that anybody can share how this could have happened and how to prevent it?

Does the error happen in every chapter of the book, or one in some of the chapters? There is a known issue where if you are on a very, very long paragraph, then the text won't highlight when you tap on it.

Note that there is a toolbar icon where you can manually go to the dictionary and look up a word, but that admittedly is not as easy as tapping on a word to automatically look it up.

You are right, I checked and the problem occurs when the paragraph is very long. Thanks for pointing out the toolbar icon, I have not noticed the little gem there before!
