ZipException opening pdf

Hi - I am trying to open a home-made pdf (125 pages) and receive the message
java.util.zip.ZipException: unknown compression method
Are there restrictions on the pdf format (size, etc.) that could produce this message? I can open other files.

That's very odd ... the sounds like Stanza is confused into thinking the PDF is actually a zip file.
One work-around you can use is to select all the text in the PDF, copy it to the clipboard, and then open Stanza Desktop and select File->New from Clipboard. That will do the same thing as Stanza would do if it opened the PDF file directly.
