2G updated to 3.0 - Stanza now refusing to open.

I have updated to OS3.0 on my iPhone 2G but Stanza now jumps back to Springboard within a second of selecting the icon before any menu is loaded. I have removed and reinstalled to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Stanza does work with iPhone OS 3.0 (albeit with a couple glitches that are fixed in the next release, which is pending Apple's approval).

This sort of problem has been fixed in the past by simply rebooting the device. Can you try that and let us know if it helps?

similar problem - fix included

I had the exact same problem, with an iPhone 3g. I remembered that I'd recently moved it to the front page, after rebooting it didn't fix the problem. I moved it to the last page and it ran, and after moving it back to the front page it still runs. Deucedly odd, but hopefully this helps.
