They are on the same wifi network. Other Products work on this PC and network
and Ipod touch 2. Shared books is ticked 3. Bonjour is installed and other
programs using Bonjour work. When I start Stanza desktop it asks to install
Bonjour. I have done this twice. 4. When I go to shared books - it onoly says
searching 5. I turned off CSA to see if that made a difference but it did not
please help!!!! Peter

Thanks..
So far I have tried all the items at http://www.lexcycle.com/faq/troubleshooting_sharing and undocked it... I still have the same issue
please help
If none of the
If none of the troubleshooting steps work, one alternative would be to save the book as an ePub file, and then upload it to http://bookworm.oreilly.com, which you can then access from within Stanza.
Followup just a few minutes later :-/
Maybe its like when you lose your keys and ask someone else to help find them... they always miraculously appear.
I decided to remove the iPhone from its dock, and there is NO reason that should have made any difference, I'm sure its co-incidence... but, lo and behold, sharing now works.
*blushing*
Can you take a look at
Can you take a look at http://www.lexcycle.com/faq/troubleshooting_sharing? Those steps usually help identify the problem.
Not working
I've just accessed forums because I have the same issue as the OP. I've looked a the link provided, and trawled through the replies, but none of the suggested solutions are working for me. I'm sure it must be a simple issue...
I am on an iMac, all latest updates (including Safari 4) are installed. Ditto iPhone (which is a first generation, don't know if that matters, but it shouldn't). Sharing is enabled on stanza desktop, a book is open, the iphone and the mac are on the same network and I get no connection. Endlessly "Searching..." the iphone finds nothing, even though it is connected to the network. I tried the "internet sharing" solution as well, just to be certain, and that did not work, either.
Alas! I don't want to have to revert to ereader.
