Some new user questions about Stanza Desktop

I am getting to grips with using Stanza (desktop) 1.0 beta 16 on my iMac (10.5.7) and have a few new user questions... 1. Is there a way to enable/disable the page turn "chirp" when using arrow keys to navigate through a book? 2. Is there a way to preserve the previously used window size and position when running Stanza in a window? I prefer to drag it up to the top of the screen, as far down as the Dashboard and then a little narrower but when I quit a reading session, the dimensions and position are reset to default on next use (oh, and when sizing the window, the application is white happy to slip behind the Dashboard if the resizing handle is off to the right of the Dashboard itself). 3. Does Stanza use any form of Font Smoothing? I have set it to Times 16 point on my iMac main screen and the edges seem a little fuzzy. I have "Automatic" font smoothing set in the System preferences. 4. Do you have any intention to allow users to set margins in a future version? The ability to set wider margins in a multi-column view wold be appreciated. Thanks for the help and I must say that Stanza is an excellent reader!

To my mind

1. This is a new bug that happens as a result of the Safari 4 upgrade. We are working on getting this fixed, but for the time being, you can either use CMD-arrow to change pages, or you can go into the Keyboard Shortcuts system preference and map a new key to change pages, which should prevent the chirp. See http://www.lexcycle.com/node/1318.
2. Not currently.
3. We just use the system font rendering, so you should see the same fonts in Stanza Desktop as in other applications. We aren't doing any additional font smoothing.
4. Not at present. This would be a good feature for a future release.

Thank you - the keyboard

Thank you - the keyboard shortcut tip in that linked thread works perfectly!

By the way - as for Margin width you could always offer a "Narrow (default) / Wide / Extra-wide" choice rather than anything where the user had to key in a value.

Hmm... the forum does not

Hmm... the forum does not seem to have preserved my line-breaks in that post - sorry for the wall-of-text.
