I know devs hate several bugs in one post, but rather than take up half the day's forum input...

These gripes are all based on Mac 10.5.6 & 10.5.7 with Stanza 1.0.0 b16 build 1:396 & iPhone 3G v2.2.1
Also, all are based on free books, which perhaps adhere to standards less strictly than paid material - though I'm certainly not investing in locked-out formats until I'm sure I can deal with unlocked ones.

Gripe 1) No Spaces Allowed
Cannot enter a 'space' in the Book Info window. Can copy/paste data containing spaces, but if you type one, a) it doesn't appear & b) the changed data is not saved on exit from the info window.

Gripe 2) Title/Author
Why is it that the simplest of MP3 apps can grab info from the file name; the more sophisticated able to swap/re-filter/discard info based on an input algorithm, eg, - : etc, in any combination, yet in Stanza, every single time I import a file I have to rename it & re-save as an epub to preserve that info?

Gripe 3) PDF
PDFs with exploding Java, as mentioned by many others - seems to be any PDF version above v6.0 which breaks, v4 & v5 are OK.

Gripe 4) Double-spacing
HTML, RTF & PDF with sudden double-spacing, apparently incurable, on Open or New from Clipboard. I've tried everything to remove these, BBEdit has been awash with variations on a theme, trying to get rid of them, saved as every format imaginable, still double-spaced when opened in Stanza.

Gripe 5)on-screen formatting
Mac window always opens to same size, regardless of how the document fits into it.

Sorry to appear to be only griping, I do actually really like Stanza, if for nothing else its ability to re-flow text, rather than have to zoom & pan as other iApps do (which is really NOT the way to read a book;-)
