Downloading from Internet to Stanza Desktop

Is there any way to download books directly to the Stanza Desktop for Macintosh? It seems that I have to dl to my iphone and then transfer to the desktop. I want to read the books on my UMPC, not my iphone and would prefer to take the Iphone out of the loop.

can't log in

i create an account on lexcycle.com, get confirmation email, login change password log out. i login to lexcycle.com and it works.

i use my touch to try to buy a book but doesn't recognize me so i have to create another account through the touch (real pain), go through the whole credit card thing and everything looks good. go download book on touch and it won't accept my account name and password but i can login here just fine. when i created the account on the touch it never asked me to setup a username and password and i used the same one here so it let me create the account twice with the same information and now won't let me download a book even though i bought it.

i'm not happy.

The username & password you

The username & password you use to download a book will be the information you used to register on the actual store. For example, if you purchased the book through http://stanza.fictionwise.com, you would use your username and password for that site to download the book.

The username and password for lexcycle.com is only used for posting messages to this forum.

You can't move things from

You can't move things from the iphone to your desktop, but I think all of the free books you can get through stanza are also available from some website or another, so you could download the books you want directly to your desktop and then do whatever you want with them.
