Tried to OPEN FILe - epub book from Digital Editions - got the message -

java.io.IOException:Pushback buffer overflow

I'm running Mac OS 10.4.11 and all software is up to date?

This particular error usually means that the book is encrypted with DRM, which Stanza Desktop does not yet support. We plan to eventually support DRM-protected ePub files, but for the time being, you will be limited to opening them in Digital Editions.

How long is eventually? I am getting this error message and it is now September and you said you were going to fix it in April. I know that this DRM nonsense is a real pain.
