Java Problem (java.lang.ArrayIndexOutofBoundsException: 65536)

I keep getting this error (java.lang.ArrayIndexOutofBoundsException: 65536) when I try to upload any of the LIT files that I have. I was able to download them with no problem a month ago, but now stanza desktop won't upload the files anymore (new and old) Can someone tell me what the error code means? What do I have to do to upload LIT files again?! Help! Thanks!

P.S. my laptop is windows xp, i have an ipod touch 2g, and i am running the latest desktop stanza

OutOfBounds error

I get the same message all the time while trying to open files. I am usually able to open them in Calibre and preview them.

We're not sure why this

We're not sure why this happens, but for those files that exhibit this problem, you can always convert them to ePub using Calibre, and then sharing them with Stanza iPhone (either using Calibre, or by opening the converted ePub file in Stanza Desktop).

Are you sure the files are

Are you sure the files are valid, and aren't protected by any sort of DRM? Are you able to open the files in the Microsoft Reader application available from http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/pc.aspx?

java

Thanks for answering. The files are valid adn aren't protected by any sort of DRM. I have been able to open the LIT files in Microsoft Reader app. As a I wrote before, I was able to open some LIT files before and download them on to my ipod touch. I tried to open the same LIT files again, and they won't work now. Hope you can help! Thanks!

Also, could you try opening

Also, could you try opening the files in Calibre ? If that is able to open them, then you can export them to ePub and share those files with Stanza iPhone.

Is there any way the version

Is there any way the version of Java in use can have changed? I believe that sort of error can occur if you are running an old version of Java.
