Thanks to the guys that have written this software, it is brilliant. I use both the iphone and desktop versions.
I have a minor upset with it though - I have downloaded a large selection of books on the internet for stanza desktop, but when I transfer them to my iphone they do not have any chapters. This is not a problem on stanza desktop, but on the iphone it means that each book takes a very long time to load. I have read a few other posts about this and have found that the way to do it is to go into the source file of the ebook and add a few chapters manually, but I have too big a selection of books to warrant doing this for each of them. I would like to see an option in stanza desktop to add chapters to the book, maybe on a right mouse click or something.

What we will probably do in a future version of Stanza Desktop is give users more options for where they want chapter boundaries inserted. If no chapters are detected automatically, the user could choose "insert chapter boundary every X words" or, as you suggest, "insert chapter boundaries wherever I tell you to, Stanza".
You might want to try using Calibre to convert your books to ePub. I believe that Calibre has more flexibility in chapter boundary insertion.
