The New York Times: Stanza: “The iPhone or iPod Touch can act as an electronic book reader.”
— Tip of the Week: Turn Your iPhone Into an e-Book
Is there any way to preserve one's bookmarks? I'm going crazy with bookmarks bookmarking every nice quote I come across as I read. I would like to preserve these bookmarks in case something happens to my iphone.
Alos, is there a way to have Stanza App synchronized across my iPhone and iPod Touch? It would be nice to have one as a backup for the other.
Thanks.

If you allow a full backup to complete during the iTunes sync process, then your books, bookmarks, settings, and all other application data associated with Stanza are backed up to your phone. If you lose your phone or you need to do a full restore your existing phone, Stanza will, in theory, be restored to the state recorded by the last backup. (Of course, this all depends on how well iTunes does the full restore, which is beyond our control.)
I have read on the web that you can synchronize two different phones with iTunes so that the two phones have the same data, but I don't know the details. That would be pretty tricky to experiment with because you might wipe out everything on your phone, so proceed at your own risk.
In a future version of the software, we do hope to enable transfers from Stanza iPhone to Stanza Desktop, which could be used as a way to backup your books.
