Downloading a book

I have downloaded Stanza onto a PC with XP +SP2 (Version 5.1) and operating Firefox 3.04. When I open Stanza, my Stanza screen is empty except for the headers File, Edit, View, Go, etc(with the dropdowns). How do I download a book from Stanza into my PC or Kindle? Thanks, Mark Levi
